About Salary & Wage Converter
The OmniTools360 Salary Calculator converts your pay between hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annual amounts. Enter one pay rate, choose how often you are paid, and set your hours per week and working weeks per year to see all the equivalent amounts. It shows gross pay before tax and runs free in your browser.
How does the Salary & Wage Converter work?
The tool first turns your pay into a yearly amount, then divides that yearly amount into the other pay periods. Hourly pay uses your hours per week times working weeks per year, a working day is counted as 8 hours, monthly uses 12 months, and bi-weekly uses 26 pay periods.

Frequently Asked Questions about Salary & Wage Converter
How do I convert an hourly wage to an annual salary?
Multiply your hourly wage by the hours you work per week, then by the weeks you work per year. For example, 25 per hour × 40 hours × 52 weeks = 52,000 per year. Select Hourly as the pay frequency, enter your rate, and the calculator shows the yearly total and other pay periods.
How do I convert an annual salary to an hourly rate?
Divide your yearly salary by the total hours you work in a year. With 40 hours a week for 52 weeks, that is 2,080 hours, so 62,400 per year equals 30 per hour. If you work fewer weeks because of unpaid leave, change Working Weeks / Year for a more accurate rate.
Is the salary calculator showing take-home pay?
No. The results are gross pay, meaning pay before income tax, social security, pension, or other deductions. Tax rules are very different in each country, so the calculator does not estimate them. Your take-home pay will be lower than the amounts shown. This is not tax or financial advice.
Why is bi-weekly pay not the same as half of monthly pay?
Because a year has 26 bi-weekly pay periods but only 12 months. Twice a month would be 24 payments. So for a 52,000 salary, bi-weekly pay is 52,000 / 26 = 2,000, while monthly pay is 52,000 / 12 ≈ 4,333.33, which is more than two bi-weekly payments.
How many working hours are in a year?
A full-time job with 40 hours a week for 52 weeks has 2,080 working hours per year. If you work 37.5 hours a week or take unpaid weeks off, the number is lower; for example, 37.5 hours × 48 weeks = 1,800 hours. You can change both values in the calculator.
