About Currency Converter

The OmniTools360 Currency Converter changes an amount from one of 12 major currencies into another, such as US dollars to euros or pounds to Indian rupees. It uses a built-in table of fixed reference rates, not live market data, so results are good for quick estimates but not for real payments.

How does the Currency Converter work?

Each currency has a stored rate against 1 US dollar. The tool converts your amount into US dollars first, then into the target currency. The rates are saved inside the page and do not update automatically.

Formula

Result = amount / (rate of the from-currency per USD) x (rate of the to-currency per USD). The exchange rate shown is to-rate / from-rate, rounded to 4 decimals, and the result is rounded to 2 decimals. Supported currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, INR, CNY, BRL, SGD, AED. Stored reference rates include 1 USD = 0.92 EUR, 0.78 GBP, 154.2 JPY, and 83.9 INR. These are fixed values, so real rates today may be different.

Frequently Asked Questions about Currency Converter

Are the exchange rates in this currency converter live?

No, the rates are not live. The Currency Converter uses a fixed table of reference rates stored in the page, and it does not connect to any exchange rate service. Real market rates change every day, so use this tool for rough estimates and check your bank or payment provider for the exact rate before sending money.

How do I convert US dollars to euros?

Multiply the dollar amount by the USD to EUR rate. With this tool's reference rate of 0.92, 100 US dollars becomes 92 euros. Type 100 in the Amount box, select USD as the source and EUR as the Target Currency, and the converted value and the rate for 1 USD appear at once.

Which currencies does this converter support?

It supports 12 currencies: US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Japanese Yen, Canadian Dollar, Australian Dollar, Swiss Franc, Indian Rupee, Chinese Yuan, Brazilian Real, Singapore Dollar, and UAE Dirham. You can convert between any two of them. Other currencies, including cryptocurrencies, are not included in the list at this time.

Why is my bank's exchange rate different from this converter?

Your bank's rate is different because this tool uses fixed reference rates, while banks use current market rates plus their own fee or margin. Card companies and money transfer services also add charges. The difference can be a few percent, so always confirm the final amount with the service that handles your payment.

Does the currency converter send my data anywhere?

No, the calculation happens entirely in your browser. The tool does not call any external API, and the amounts you type are not sent to a server. Because the rates are stored in the page, the converter also keeps working without an internet connection once the page has fully loaded.
