About Rotate PDF
The OmniTools360 Rotate PDF tool turns PDF pages 90, 180 or 270 degrees and saves the change permanently. You can rotate the whole document or only the pages you list, such as 2,4-6. The file is processed in your browser, so it is never uploaded to a server.
How does the Rotate PDF work?
The tool opens your PDF with the pdf-lib library, adds the chosen angle to each selected page's existing rotation setting, and saves a new PDF. Page content, text and images are not re-rendered, so quality is unchanged and the text stays selectable.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rotate PDF
How do I rotate only one page of a PDF?
Choose Selected pages and type the page number, for example 3, then pick the angle and click Rotate PDF. You can list several pages with commas and ranges with a dash, such as 1,4,6-9. All other pages keep their current orientation in the downloaded file.
Is the rotation saved permanently?
Yes, the rotation is saved into the downloaded PDF. The tool updates each page's rotation setting, so the pages appear turned in any PDF reader, browser or printer. Your original file on your device is not changed; you get a new copy named with -rotated at the end.
Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
No, rotating does not affect quality. The page content is not converted to images or compressed again; only the page's rotation value changes. Text stays selectable and searchable, and images keep their original resolution. The file size usually stays almost the same as the original.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
No, encrypted PDFs that need a password to open cannot be rotated with this tool. If you know the password, open the file in a PDF reader, save or print an unprotected copy, and then rotate that copy here. Files that are damaged may also fail to load.
Is my PDF uploaded when I rotate it?
No, your PDF never leaves your device. The file is read and rotated entirely inside your browser using JavaScript, and the new PDF is created locally for download. This makes the tool safe for private documents such as contracts, bank statements and scanned IDs.
