About WiFi QR Code Generator
The OmniTools360 WiFi QR Code Generator turns your network name and password into a QR code that phones can scan to join your WiFi instantly. It supports WPA, WPA2, WPA3, WEP and open networks, and is generated entirely in your browser, so your password is never sent anywhere.
How does the WiFi QR Code Generator work?
The tool builds the standard WiFi QR text format, WIFI:T:type;S:name;P:password;H:hidden;;, escaping special characters with a backslash. It then draws that text as a styled QR code on a canvas, optionally inside a frame with a label, and exports it as a PNG image.

Frequently Asked Questions about WiFi QR Code Generator
How do I scan a WiFi QR code?
Open the camera app on your phone and point it at the code. Most modern iPhone and Android phones show a prompt to join the network, and tapping it connects you without typing the password. Some older Android phones need a QR scanner app or the scan option in the WiFi settings screen.
Is it safe to enter my WiFi password here?
Yes, your password stays on your device. The QR code is created entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. Keep in mind that anyone who scans the printed code can read the password, so only display it where you are happy for people to join.
Which security type should I choose for my WiFi QR code?
Choose WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 for almost every modern router, since the WiFi QR format uses one WPA value for all three. Pick WEP only for very old equipment, and None for open networks with no password. You can check the type in your router settings or on the label of the router.
Does the WiFi QR code stop working if I change my password?
Yes, the code stops connecting after a password change. The password is stored inside the QR pattern itself, so the old code still contains the old password. Simply create a new WiFi QR code with the new password and replace any printed copies. Renaming the network has the same effect.
What does the Hidden network option do?
It tells the phone that your network does not broadcast its name, so the phone should connect to it even though it does not appear in the list. Only tick it if your router actually hides the SSID. For normal visible networks leave it off, because the phone finds the network automatically.
